Moved to Utah Where I got married and had 2 beautiful daughters. Divorced. Worked for Nordstrom 23 years, the last 6 years as a merchandiser. Recently retired from Nordstrom and decided to get my real estate licence and sell custom homes for my cousins.

Wow!! The last 30 years, ho rw much space do I have. Just finished raising my two boys 18 and 23. I was married for 15 years, had kids, ran a business, got divorced, moved to Prescott (my other home town) for 6 six years, got remarried, moved back to Mesa. lost my parents, got divorced. And now I just enjoy my kids, work some, and just chill..

After graduation I worked a few different jobs. Lived in St. George, Utah for awhile. I came back to Mesa in 1980. Met my Husband, Mike Wallace, July of 1981. He graduated from Coronado High School in 1978. We were married in the Arizona Temple on March 1982. We have 4 children born in 1983, 1984, 1986 and 1992. Three boys and one daughter, our daughter being our youngest. I have worked off and on through out our marriage and am currently at home. I keep busy with my family and church responsibilities. I still get together regularly with some of my old friends. Friends like Julie Osborn, Sharon Payne and Donna Allen. And let me tell you, somethings just never change. Older bodies, but still crazy as ever.

I retired from the US Navy after 20 great years. Moved back to the valley over 5 years ago. Been married for 20 years. After being downsized, I have gone into real estate.

What have you been up to for the last 30+ years?:
30 years! Where has the time gone? After graduation I worked for Salt River Project for a while and eventually took a position with the Mesa Public Schools. In 1981 I married Annette Skalsky (class of ’81). We have two children, Trevor 14, and Christin 17. Unfortunately, Annette and I divorced in 2005. I landed on my feet however, and I am enjoying being single again. Trevor and I live in Mesa and we are having a great time. We enjoy spending time camping, fishing, and riding dirt bikes up north. I’ve been with MPS for 27 years now and I am looking forward to retirement. Once the kids finish school I’ll have to see what the next chapter in my life has in store. I’m looking forward to attending the reunion and renewing old acquaintances and friendships.

What have you been up to for the last 30+ years?:
It can't be 30 years! I've been happily married 26 years to Bryne McDowell. We have 2 girls, Sarah, 21 and Ashley 18. Over the past 30 years I have worked as an optician, stayed home with the kids, volunteered at the schools, active in ministries within the church, homeschooled, workde part time at the tennis club. Then I went back to school for cosmetology and got my esthetician and nail tech license so that I could "work" in a relaxing day spa. We spend as much time as possible on East Coast beaches and enjoy the old-time boardwalk in our very own state, in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. My birth name is John Ashby (I always went by my middle name Andy)
I graduated in 78, got married to a fellow 78 graduate Denyce Niemiec, we had 2 kids & have been married 30 years.
We moved from Az. when we discovered the beauty of Oregon. We have lived here since the late 90s. Our kids moved on but my wife & I enjoy being a couple again.
She has cancer, so we appreciate time together even more these days.
I have been lucky to have good health.
I'm not good on the computer but my wife encouraged me to submit to this.
Keith Stoffel & I worked together at the Mesa Tribune for years (also where I met my wife Denyce) We were good buds but lost touch after I moved to Oregon.
I just read of his passing & it saddens me. He was a very good man.

What have you been up to for the last 30+ years?:
After barely graduating, I went to work doing what I love, pulling wrenches. In 1981 I chose to serve a church mission and was called to serve in London, England. In 1983 I married my high school sweetheart, Ginny Nicoll, and in 1984 we went into the heavy equipment parts and repair business. Then, as if we did not have enough to do (Ginny said), in 2000 we bought an industrial engine parts and machining business. I spent 20 years in Scouting when I was younger and did other volunteer work for the church. I run the water coop that we are on (can't trust any one else when it comes to water for the house!!) and maintain our real estate investments. At this age the 12 hour day is getting too long. We had three boys then two girls. Jesse, the oldest, and his wife Amanda just blessed us with our first granddaughter. He served a mission in Sweden and is now working with me and doesn't know how the "old man" does it. Billy got back from his mission in Alberta, Canada in September '06 and was married in February '07. He also works for us, but I guess we didn't work him hard enough. Blaine is now on a mission in the Philippines and loves it. Louise is a senior at Higley High and is planning to continue to work in the office for us and go to school. Our baby, Alicia, is a sophomore at Higley and also works in the office for us. Ginny and I plan to retire to our place in Vernon, Az in about eight to ten years were she wants to operate the family ranch, and, who knows, maybe I can run Baker Machinery North!! P.S. So much has occured in thirty years; currently I am a full time student my under-grad program major is a BS Pre- P.A. (physicians assistant) I will begin the master's program in 2007. We moved to Tn. about 10 years ago but it looks like we will be moving again soon, so I will be able to attend graduate school. With three teenage children and school I am a busy girl. Our oldest son is on his mission at this time he is in the Washington DC area. I hope to see many friends at the reunion.
